Dr. Senor is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He has been with the Asheville Hospitalist Group since 2007. Prior to joining the group, he was a hospitalist with the Hospitalist Management Group at Genesis HealthCare System in Zanesville, Ohio. In 2006, he received the Physician PRIDE award for physician excellence from the nursing and clinical staff at Genesis. He was the first hospitalist to receive this award.

What do you find most rewarding about your area of practice? It's the diversity of patients and illnesses we see. I also like the fact that, as a hospitalist, my time is markedly structured and predictable. I am able to plan time outside of work for spending time with my family and pursuing hobbies and other interests.
Why did you decide to specialize in your specialty? After more than eight year of practicing inpatient and outpatient internal medicine and pediatrics, I came to realize that my interests clearly were more geared toward hospitalized patients. I find caring for this population much more gratifying.
What do you like most about practicing at Mission Health System? I appreciate the quality of physicians both within our group and those from other specialties with whom we work day in and day out. The staff here at Mission Health System is cordial and patient-oriented. They make work very enjoyable. The facilities and diagnostic tools are outstanding.
Personal Interests: Dr. Senor has been a serious magician for 10 years. He has performed at a variety of venues in Asheville and Ohio. He is also a portrait artist and had done many sculptures. He enjoys spending time with family, reading, exercise, movies and the theater.
