Mission Medical Associates’ highly qualified management team has the experience and drive to build and develop the infrastructure necessary to support our physicians, their offices and staff.

Marc Westle, DO, FACP - President and CEO
Dr. Westle received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has practiced with Asheville Hospitalist Group for more than a decade and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and Fellow of Hospital Medicine (FHM). He also is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) by the American College of Physician Executives.

Frank Ford, MBA, MHA, FACMPE - Vice President, Physician Services
Frank received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi, Oxford. He went on to receive his master's degree in business administration and a master's degree in health administration from the University of Florida, Gainesville. Frank is a fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives and has 25 years of hospital, physician practice and consulting healthcare experience.

Cheryl Williams, CPA, MAC - Executive Director, Finance
Cheryl is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and completed her undergraduate accounting degree and masters of accounting (MAC) at Western Carolina University. Cheryl brings over twenty years of accounting experience, 14 of those in healthcare.
Susan Mims, MD, MPH - Mission Children's Hospital Executive Medical Director
Dr. Mims received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine, Chapel Hill. She completed her residencies in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Preventative Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill as well. She earned a master's degree in public health with an emphasis in epidemiology from UNC's School of Public Health. Dr. Mims leads Mission Children's Hospital as it grows to meet the needs of children in Western North Carolina.

David Stegall, PA-C – Executive Director, Mission Children's Specialists
David completed the physician assistant program at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC. He is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Western Carolina University. David began practicing as a Physician Assistant in 1989 and has served in a variety of medical leadership roles since 1996.

Jackson Norton, MBA, MHA, CMPE - Executive Director of Practice Operations, Primary Care
Jackson is responsible for managing Mission Medical Associates' primary care practice operations. He has more than 12 years of healthcare experience and previously served as chief administrative officer for Parkway Medical Group, an 11-provider practice with two Western North Carolina locations. After majoring in biology at Georgia Southern University, Jackson earned his master's degree in business administration from Georgia State University, where he went on to complete his master's degree in health administration. He is president of the Western North Carolina Medical Managers' Association.
Deanna Peltz, Executive Director - Practice Operations, Specialty Practices
Deanna holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Missouri State University. She comes to Asheville from Springfield, MO, where she served for the past 10 years as executive director of St. John's Clinic, a multi-specialty group practice serving southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas. Before joining St. John's Clinic, Deanna was vice president at MHM CBIZ, where she provided merger and acquisition services in addition to practice management consulting nationally.
Barry Coletti, MBA, MHA, Executive Director - Practice Operations, Asheville Cardiology Associates
With more than 27 years of experience in healthcare, Barry is responsible for managing operations at Asheville Cardiology Associates, one of Western North Carolina’s largest single specialty practices. Prior to joining ACA, Barry was most recently the director of operations for Metro Medical Health in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was responsible for a cardiology practice with 50 providers, nine clinics and 125 staff members. Barry holds a master’s degree in human services from John Carroll University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Baldwin Wallace College. He also holds certificates in Six Sigma Green Belt and LEAN Six Sigma from Villanova University.
