West Buncombe Family Medicine is led by David Rogers, MD, Karen LeHew, MD, and Justin Parker, DO, all board-certified family medicine physicians. Dr. Rogers led a family practice in western Buncombe County for 25 years. In 2010, his practice affiliated with Mission Medical Associates, the physician group practice of Mission Health, and changed its name to West Buncombe Family Medicine. In May 2011, Dr. Rogers was joined by Dr. LeHew, an experienced family practice physician who is a retired Naval Flight Surgeon. In August, Justin Parker, DO, joined the practice, having recently completed his family practice residency at MAHEC.
West Buncombe Family Medicine is located at 91 Mt. Carmel Road, and serves the communities of Leicester, West Asheville, Erwin Hills and surrounding areas.
Our practice is proud of its comfortable, family atmosphere. From the laid-back semi-rural scenery of our .75-acre property to our patient lobby, there is a home-like feeling.
West Buncombe Family Medicine offers full-service family healthcare, with an emphasis on diagnosis, preventive care and continuity of care. Dr. Rogers is experienced in caring for patients with chronic ailments that require regular attention over the long term.
