About Asheville Cardiology Associates

Our physician staff is comprised of more than 30 cardiologists, with a support staff of over 200 highly skilled individuals. Our physician team includes four pediatric cardiologists. The practice also has many advanced practitioners to offer comprehensive, expedient attention. Asheville Cardiology Associates physicians participate as board members of the American Society of Echocardiography. They are also members of numerous state and national committees of the American College of Cardiology. Our cardiologists are committed to continuously advancing their skills through educational courses, symposiums and research.

The Asheville office, located at the intersection of I-40 and Highway 25 South, allows convenient access from the entire region of western North Carolina, and South Carolina as well.

Our practice conducts regular physician education conferences and bi-annually sponsors a cardiology symposium. Patient education is encouraged through clinics offered on topics such as cholesterol and lipid management, anticoagulation, electrophysiology, adult congenital heart defects, and congestive heart failure. Asheville Cardiology Associates also works closely with the region's hospitals to provide cardiology rotations for the residents in family practice and medicine, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses and pharmacists.

Asheville Cardiology Associates' Research Department participates in various trials, including device, pharmaceutical and clinical studies, and conducts research in both comparative theories and outcomes. The research staff's role is dedicated to conducting clinical research, and the department has been internationally recognized for its data and enrollment in many of its trials.
