Founded in 1997 by four physicians who were dedicated to caring for the adult hospitalized patient, we have grown with Mission Hospitals and the Western North Carolina community to 28 full-time hospitalists.

Our corporate structure and governance is designed to give all our physicians an equal voice. The group is 100% owned and managed equally by the physicans. All key management positions are elected by a democratic voting process. A two year partnership track attracts the best physicians available and emphasizes our corporate philosophy of retention. The physician turnover in our group is among the lowest in the country.
