As a hospitalist, Dr. Shah-Taylor specializes in caring for adult patients while they are hospitalized. She is trained to treat a wide variety of conditions and responsible for:
- Stabilizing patients and diagnosing their condition

- Ensuring the patient's continuum of care after discharge
- Explaining and communicating information about the patient's health problem and the treatment plan to the patient, the family and other doctors
